I control my car with NFC tags, and now it's always the perfect temperature when I get in

I've owned an EV for three years, and I've been using Apple Shortcuts even longer. Until recently, I didn't know how well they could work together. I drive a Tesla Model Y, and it has iOS, Android, and watchOS companion apps that unlock a host of features and remote control. Better yet, it integrates with Apple Shortcuts. Using cheap NFC tags and the automation tools in the Shortcuts app, I can control my car instantly by tapping my phone against an NFC tag — completing a slew of actions at once.
